Get crazy, get wild, get another pack of diapers on your way home, will ya?
That's likely been the mantra of Jersey Shore star and new dad Ronnie Ortiz-Magro lately, who announced Tuesday via Us Weekly that his daughter has been named Ariana Sky.
Born April 3, the little one is Ronnie's first child with girlfriend Jen Harley, whom he's been dating since last summer.
"When we first started dating in the beginning, we’d joke around saying, ‘What if we had a kid? It’d be crazy and good-looking!’ And we’d say ‘What would we name it?’ We joked that we liked Ariana,” the 32-year-old reality star told the tabloid.
“When she found out she was pregnant," he continued, "we looked at each other and we’re like, ‘Guess we’re naming the baby Ariana if it’s a girl.’ Next thing you know, we find out the gender and we’re like, ‘Guess so!’ ”
Now that he's a parent himself, Ronnie says he finds it easier to relate to Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, his Jersey Shore: Family Vacation costars who got a bit emotional when they had to leave their own kids to film the reunion show in Miami.
Ronnie left his own daughter for the first time since she was born this week to film an MTV segment in New York — a trip whose ending he's looking forward to, he admits.
"I wanna be on the next flight out of here, to get back there," he said. "Luckily, Jen is very understanding; she understands that I live a certain lifestyle that involves me traveling but she knows I love her and the baby at the end of the day.”
